Overnight Ratings: Tiger Woods' 4th Place Finish Boosts PGA Tour

Tiger Woods strong play at the Quicken Loans National led a bump in overnight ratings for the final round of the PGA Tour event. CBS drew a 2.5 overnight for yesterday’s final round, as Francesco Molinari ran away with the win by eight strokes. Woods finished tied for fourth. The 2.5 overnight is the best for the event since ’15, when CBS drew the same rating for Troy Merritt’s three-stroke win. Woods finished tied for 18th that year. Woods did not play the event last season.

The chart below lists overnight ratings from weekend sports telecasts on broadcast TV.
