USA Cycling has hired GUILLERMO ROJAS as Dir of Marketing & Communications. Rojas joins from Colorado-Springs Torre Consulting, which he founded. He advised on KT Tape’s move into the U.S. Olympic movement and led media operations for the Amgen Tour of California cycling event. Rojas at USA Cycling will report to Chief Marketing & Sales Officer FUAD HAMZA. Torre will continue under the control of Rojas’ deputy SHAWN FRACK (Ben Fischer, Staff Writer).

EXECS: The Magic promoted COO CHARLES FREEMAN to President of Business Operations. Freeman started with the Magic in '96 as a market research analyst for corporate sponsorship (Magic)....The CFP named Mountain West Conference Assistant Commissioner/Advanced Media & Digital Strategy KATIE CAVENDER Assistant Dir of Communications. The CFP also promoted CLAUDIA DORSEY to Assistant Dir of Business & Ticket Operations. Dorsey has been a member of the CFP staff since July '15 (CFP).....Aspire Group promoted TREG WALDRON to Senior Service Consultant (Maryland) and CAMERON ILICH to Team Leader of Sales (Georgia Tech).
