Buyers & Sellers: Derek Jeter Selling N.Y. Lakefront Castle For $14.75M

DEREK JETER has listed his home in Greenwood Lake, N.Y., "known locally as 'the castle,'" for $14.75M. Located "just over the New Jersey state line on the shore of Greenwood Lake, the 115-year-old home is well disguised from the street by stone walls that rise 6 feet high." The 4-acre lakeside property "features a main house, a guest house, a pool house, and a boat house." Rounding out the grounds are an "infinity pool, intricately manicured gardens, and a lagoon featuring its own stone bridge." There are also "two conference rooms, 12 bathrooms and five kitchens" (NORTHJERSEY.com, 6/26).

EXECUTIVE SUITES: NFL Giants Chair & Exec VP STEVE TISCH purchased a home in Beverly Hills for $10.05M. The five-bedroom, six-bathroom home was built in '62 and within more than 6,300 square feet of interior has a "two-story great room with a centerpiece fireplace, a loft den-office, a home theater and a chef's kitchen." Outside, the nearly one-acre property holds a "sunken terrace, a fire pit and a swimming pool" (LATIMES.com, 6/26)....Packers President & CEO MARK MURPHY is selling his home in De Pere, Wis., for $1.5M. The 7,363-square-foot house has "seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms." The nearly 2-acre lot has a swimming pool and "adjoins the Fox River State Recreational Trail and includes riverfront access" (GREENBAYPRESSGAZETTE.com, 6/21).

CALIFORNIA DREAMING: Hockey HOFer TEEMU SELANNE has put his estate in the private community of Coto de Caza in Orange County on the market for $6.9M. In addition to a 9,400-square-foot Mediterranean home, there is a "barn, riding area, tennis court and a rock swimming pool with several waterfalls." The home comes with "four bedroom suites and two additional rooms that can be converted into bedrooms." There are also "six garages, and the barn includes a couple of flats -- one a two-bedroom -- with kitchenettes" (OCREGISTER.com, 6/26)....Trail Blazers F MOE HARKLESS bought a home in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood of L.A. for $3.8M. The home comes with a "gated frontyard with a lawn and fountain." Included within the 6,854-square-foot floor plan are "five bedrooms, 5.25 bathrooms and a theater room." The living space "extends outward via balcony overlooking a fenced backyard with a pool, spa and fire pit" (LATIMES.com, 6/27)....Dodgers LF JOC PEDERSON purchased a home in the Studio City neighborhood of L.A. for $3.15M. The custom two-story home "features five bedrooms, six bathrooms and nearly 5,000 square feet of open-plan living space." Details of note "include high ceilings, wide-plank oak floors and a home theater with tiered seating." A wine locker "sits off the common areas" (LATIMES.com, 6/22).

BUYERS & SELLERS: Former NFLer JAY CUTLER has listed his home in the Bancroft neighborhood of Nashville for $7.9M. The Mediterranean-style, 19,000-square-foot, seven-bedroom home is "situated on just over eight acres." The home "features seven full bathrooms, three half baths and a full basement." Also included is a "seven-car garage and five working fireplaces" (TENNESSEAN.com, 6/21)....Golfer LUKE DONALD has put his mansion in Northfield, Ill., on the market for $4.5M. The 8,100-square-foot Colonial-style house has "six bedrooms, a beamed ceiling and wainscoting in the dining room, and in the basement, a pub, a wine cellar and ... a golf simulator." The property, "slightly more than an acre, includes a swimming pool and an outdoor fireplace area" (CHICAGOBUSINESS.com, 6/26)....CBS' BILL COWHER is selling his country club home in Raleigh for $2.39M. The four-bedroom, six-bathroom house is more than 6,600 square feet and has a "four-car garage, garden veranda, butler's pantry, gym, dog spa and more" (NEWSOBSERVER.com, 6/24).
