ESPN Keeping Le Batard, Stugotz On Air With New Multiyear Deals

ESPN Radio's Dan Le Batard and Jon "Stugotz" Weiner have signed multiyear agreements to remain with the network. The duo will continue to host their Miami-based program from 10:00am-1:00pm ET. Le Batard also will continue to co-host "Highly Questionable" alongside his father, Gonzalo "Papi" Le Batard. As part of the deal, Dan Le Batard will conduct six longform interviews each year across multiple ESPN platforms. Weiner will continue to appear on "SportsCenter" and make guest appearances on other ESPN Radio shows (ESPN). In Miami, Greg Cote notes Le Batard has become "one of ESPN's major players." His radio show is "heard by 2.2 million listeners per week on 258 stations nationwide." The show's podcast is ESPN's top "downloaded show-to-podcast product, with more than 53 million downloads in 2017." Le Batard said, "I've been stunned for 15 years that people continue to consume our stupidity, and we are deeply appreciative of the freedom and support ESPN gives us. Though we have to question ESPN's judgment for it" (MIAMI HERALD, 6/29).
