Jaguars Lead NFL With More Than 10,000 New Season-Ticket Holders

Jaguars President Mark Lamping said that the franchise had "sold more than 10,000" new season tickets, and more than 90% of current season ticket-holders have "renewed for the upcoming season," according to John Reid of the FLORIDA TIMES-UNION. The Jaguars said that they "lead the NFL in new season-ticket sales." The team added that lower-level, single-game tickets are "sold out for the regular-season home opener" against the Patriots on Sept. 16 and their Sunday night game on Nov. 11 against the Steelers. Single-game tickets "remain available for all other home games." Lamping said, "Market demand for Jaguars season tickets has exceeded even our expectations." Reid notes less than 1,000 seats "remain in the US Assure Club and lower bowl, which are now reserved for season ticket packages only." Earlier this year, the Jaguars "removed the advertising tarps on the corners of the west side of the stadium that will enable the franchise to sell an additional 3,500 tickets that would not have been available otherwise" (FLORIDA TIMES-UNION, 6/15).
