Independent Sports & Entertainment President & CEO HANK RATNER is stepping down from his role, effective immediately. Ratner, the former MSG CEO, was hired to run ISE in June '16. ISE, formerly known as Relativity Sports, is majority owned by Penguins co-Owner RON BURKLE. Ratner will continue with the company as an advisor through the end of July (Liz Mullen, Staff Writer).

ON THE WAY OUT: Redskins President of Hospitality DENNIS GREENE, who was involved in the '13 "photo shoot during a trip to Costa Rica with team cheerleaders," has "resigned and is no longer with the organization." Greene had been "in charge of selling luxury suites" at FedExField. To meet his sales targets, Greene "promised access to Redskins cheerleaders as an incentive" (WASHINGTONPOST.com, 5/31).

HIT THE BOOKS: The Univ. of Miami has given a "multiyear contract extension" to AD BLAKE JAMES through '23 (MIAMIHERALD.com, 5/31)....Stephen F. Austin named Austin Peay AD RYAN IVEY to the same position (SFA)....Loyola Marymount Univ. named Oregon Senior Associate AD/Marketing & Public Relations CRAIG PINTENS AD (LMU).

EXECS: Bridgestone Golf President & CEO ANGEL ILAGAN and the company "have made a mutual decision to part ways." Former Bridgestone Golf President SHIGERU NAKAYAMA will "return to serve" as acting President & CEO (GOLFDIGEST.com, 5/31)....The AHL "extended the contract" of President & CEO DAVID ANDREWS through '20. The extension will keep Andrews "in charge for his 25th and 26th seasons" (AP, 5/31)....NASCAR promoted the following: GENE STEFANYSHYN to Senior VP & Chief Int'l Officer; JOHN PROBST to VP/Innovation & Racing Development; JOHN BOBO to VP/Racing Operations; and SCOTT PRIME to VP/Strategic Development (NASCAR).....The NBPA named LMU professor DR. WILLIAM PARHAM to the newly created position of Dir of Mental Health & Wellness (NBPA)....Oak View Group Global Partnerships named Roc Nation Manager of Branding and Strategic Partnerships IAN FINE Senior Coordinator. Fine will work out of OVG's N.Y. office (THE DAILY)....USATF CRO DAVID GADIS has left the organization for a new job as CEO of the DC Water & Sewer Authority. He will not be replaced, and his duties will be assumed by CMO JILL GREER (Ben Fischer, Staff Writer).
