Danica Patrick crashed out and finished 30th in her final Indianapolis 500, and she is "ready to put racing in her rearview mirror" as it is now "all about business," according to Michelle Martinelli of USA TODAY. Patrick "has her own athleisure wear clothing line, Warrior by Danica Patrick, a wine company, Somnium, and recently published" a health and fitness book. She "wants to start working on expanding her clothing line." Warrior officially launched in January '17, and its "collections are sold" on Home Shopping Network. As the "creative director of the brand, the designs are based on functional elements Patrick looks for in clothes she wears that are often missing, while the prints are inspired by everything from food to art." Before "moving onto her next chapter, Patrick was able to finish her racing career with the Daytona 500 and Indy 500, in part, thanks to reuniting with longtime sponsor, GoDaddy." As she "completes her shift from driver to entrepreneur, the company is helping her market and build her brand online" (USA TODAY, 5/29). AD AGE's E.J. Schultz wrote Patrick is a "marketing superstar" and will "try to remain in the spotlight post-racing." According to data from Celebrity DBI, Patrick as an endorser has an awareness score of 68%, but come July, her score "might gain some speed" when she hosts the ESPYs (ADAGE.com, 5/25).
