Sports Business Awards: AEG Wins For Consulting, Sales, Client Services

AEG won Best in Property Consulting, Sales & Client Services at the '18 Sports Business Awards, taking home the award for this category for the second year in a row. AEG Chief Revenue Officer Todd Goldstein, who accepted the award on the stage flanked by over a dozen of his colleagues, expressed his surprise at the acknowledgement, noting the extremely strong years by fellow nominees CAA Sports, CSM Properties, Legends and Nielsen. In '17, AEG posted its highest-ever revenue at $530M and had over $562M in contractually obligated income. It also helped launch the Golden Knights and sold sponsorships around the Chargers’ move to StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. Goldstein credited the talented group around him and its ability to secure both new deals and renewals. But even after winning the category again, Goldstein said the AEG division is not sitting still. “We have a lot in front of us; we know we can keep getting better,” he said.
