Former Golf Channel instructor Michael Breed is launching a new show on Facebook Watch called “A New Breed of Golf” that will air on Mondays beginning May 28. The interactive show, which varies in length between 10-20 minutes, will be based out of Breed’s golf studio near his Connecticut home. No specific number of shows has been set yet. The episodes will feature video content and engage golf fans on Facebook by integrating content generated by viewers who can upload videos with the following hashtags for the chance to be featured in one of four segments:

  • #FixMySwing: Golfers submit videos of their swings and Breed provides personalized tips.
  • #YouBet: Breed will help resolve golf course bets sent in by viewers.
  • #NotMySwing: Viewers can send in their golf dilemmas with Breed to weigh in on the decision.
  • #TheGreatDebate:  Breed will discuss some of golf's great debates and viewers will have the chance to submit a video stating their position. Select takes will be featured on the show.

Octagon, which reps Breed, is a producer and is selling sponsorships to the show. Breed left Golf Channel at the end of '17. He is now the Chief Digital Instructor at Golf Digest and is a host on SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio.
