IMG College has extended its multimedia rights and licensing deals with the Univ. of Cincinnati through '27. The multimedia rights agreement began in '08. IMG College will continue to provide exclusive representation of the corporate partner program and commercial business, including radio broadcasts, television features, club level sponsorships, hospitality, coaching endorsements and in-venue signage. IMG also will continue to manage the university’s trademark licensing program, which has generated more than $14.5M in licensing royalties since the school partnered with IMG College Licensing in '92. IMG College President Tim Pernetti led the talks for the company along with Cincinnati AD Mike Bohn.

RUTGERS SIGNS NEW DEAL: Dyehard Fan Supply, the retailer created by Ben Sutton’s Teall Capital, has won the Rutgers gameday and event business. Rutgers Senior Associate AD/External Affairs & Strategic Communications Rick Thorpe said the new multiyear deal will see Dyehard operate points of sale across the school’s athletic venues. The school previously worked with Team Retail Solutions, a company that Teall Capital acquired in January to help build Dyehard. Rutgers represents Dyehard’s first school client in the college space. “This is yet another positive step in our efforts to improve the fan experience for Rutgers nation,” Thorpe said. In addition to carrying merchandise from Adidas, Rutgers' official shoe and apparel partner, Dyehard will provide products from other licensees and novelty items, as well as specialty, event-themed merchandise. Dyehard will have points of sale throughout High Point Solutions Stadium, Rutgers Athletic Center, Yurcak Field and Bainton Field. Rutgers’ new RWJ Barnabas Health Athletic Performance Center, which houses basketball practice facilities, also will feature a Rutgers team store. Fanatics still has Rutgers’ rights to the online team store.
