Cal fired Assistant Dir of Student Services MOHAMED MUQTAR after an investigation concluded that he "violated the university's sexual violence and sexual harassment policy." Muqtar, one of the "staples of the athletic department for the past 25 years," also served in a variety of other roles over the years (SFCHRONICLE.com, 5/17). 

EXECS: Fox Sports named Colts Senior Dir of Communications AVIS ROPER to the same role. Roper will focus on the net's NFL and MLB coverage. He will be based in N.Y. and report to Exec VP/Communications TERRI HINES. Roper, who starts Monday, also had a stint with the NFL Giants (John Ourand, Staff Writer)....The Big Ten promoted Associate Commissioner/Finance JULIE SUDERMAN to CFO and Dir of Building Services BRENDA HILTON to Senior Dir of Building Services (Big Ten)....The European Tour named IMG Senior VP & Chair of Golf GUY KINNINGS Deputy CEO and Ryder Cup Dir. Kinnings will replace RICHARD HILLS, who is retiring after the Ryder Cup in Paris this fall. Kinnings has worked for IMG since '89 (GOLFWEEK.com, 5/17)....California-based Sports Studios hired ROBIN JAFFE as VP/Client Services & Business Development. Jaffe worked at MLB for 15 years, where she oversaw baseball's TV and film trademark licensing business (THE DAILY)....U.S. Paralympics VP JULIE DUSSLIERE was appointed Americas Paralympic Committee President. Dussiliere will serve until the next meeting in '19 (Ben Fischer, Staff Writer).
