Patriots Owner ROBERT KRAFT is on a "list of cleared callers" who may contact PRESIDENT TRUMP "through this official channel" via the White House switchboard. The list only includes a "few dozen friends and family members" outside the administration (NEW YORK magazine, 5/14 issue). It is "no secret that Kraft and Trump are tight," but Kraft previously has indicated that his "relationship with the president is more personal than political." He noted that Trump "was supportive after the death of his wife, MYRA, in 2011" (BOSTON GLOBE, 5/15).

SAINTS ROW: Saints and Pelicans Owner GAYLE BENSON's horse, Lone Sailor, has "officially entered" Saturday's Preakness Stakes after finishing eighth at the Kentucky Derby (NOLA.com, 5/14). Meanwhile, New Orleans-based WYES-PBS announced that the hour-long documentary "TOM BENSON: THE LIFE AND LEGACY OF A NEW ORLEANS SAINT," will premiere May 23 (NOLA.com, 5/14).

IN MEMORY: Former Twins broadcaster FRANK QUILICI died yesterday at his home in Burnsville, Minn. He turned 79 on Friday and "had been in hospice care.” Quilici “worked on Twins radio broadcasts” with HERB CARNEAL in ’67-77, ’80-82 and ’87 (STARTRIBUNE.com, 5/15).
