Cal State-Northridge named former Maryland AD KEVIN ANDERSON interim AD. The school said that Anderson "would not be a candidate for the full-time position." CSUN Associate Media Relations Dir MATT MONROE said the search is "ongoing" and "open-ended." Anderson begins his position today (BALTIMORESUN.com, 5/4)....Wabash College named Western Illinois Univ. AD MATT TANNEY to the same position. Tanney replaces GREG SHAHEEN, who resigned in April after two years. Tanney will begin May 21 (Wabash)....Texas A&M-Corpus Christi AD SCOTT LAZENBY will "step down," with men's basketball coach WILLIS WILSON serving as interim AD (CALLER.com, 5/3)....Sprint Center VP/Event Operations & Services MICHAEL CHALFIE will add the title of Assistant GM (Sprint Center)....The Golden Knights named ADRIENNE CASS VP/HR (THE DAILY)....The Texans hired Jets Dir of College Scouting MATT BAZIRGAN for a "high-level job in their personnel department." Bazirgan is "expected to hold the title" of Dir of Player Personnel after the Jets "granted permission for him to talk with the Texans." The Texans "previously dismissed" Assistant GM & VP/Player Personnel JIMMY RAYE (HOUSTONCHRONICLE.com, 5/4)....Intrust Bank Arena promoted AMANDA SHANKLE to Marketing Manager. The facility also named LYNDSEY EDWARDS Marketing & Groups Sales Coordinator (THE DAILY)....The Blue Jackets named Astros CRM Administrator LUKE NAPOLITANO CRM Coordinator (THE DAILY).
