Former Italian soccer player ALESSANDRO DEL PIERO purchased a home in the Bel-Air neighborhood of L.A. for $6.2M. The 5,300-square-foot home "sits on a hill with views of the ocean." Past a grand entry with 20-foot-high ceilings is an "indoor-outdoor living room with pocketing doors." A chandelier-topped dining room and a "center-island kitchen anchor the rest of the main floor." The home has "five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms" (LATIMES.com, 5/3).

BUYERS & SELLERS: Redskins LB RYAN KERRIGAN purchased a home in Newport Beach, Calif., for $4M. Built in '16, the three-story spot opens up to 3,100 square feet of living space "fit for a home by the ocean." On the third floor of the Cape Cod-inspired home is a "family room adjoined to a rooftop terrace with an outdoor kitchen." An elevator "serves all three floors" (LATIMES.com, 5/2)....Monumental Sports & Entertainment Chair & CEO TED LEONSIS has placed his condo at the Wormley School in Georgetown on the market for $3.2M. The "two-bedroom, three-bathroom," 2,500-square-foot apartment is "one of just seven units in the Wormley School" (WASHINGTONPOST.com, 4/27)....Former NBAer RASHEED WALLACE has sold his home in Portland for $3.125M. At 10,058 square feet, the three-story home has a "pitched roof, dormer windows and half-timber accents." The "five-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom house" was built in 1924 (LATIMES.com, 4/30)....Former Steelers coach BILL COWHER is selling his home in Raleigh for $2.39M. The 6,500-square-foot home is "adjacent to a golf course." There are four bedrooms and six bathrooms, and a "freestanding tub and walk-in closet." A gym and office "round out the floor plan" (LATIMES.com, 5/1).
