Tag Heuer Signs Deals With Orlando City, Indianapolis Motor Speedway

Tag Heuer has signed multiyear partnerships with Orlando City and the NWSL Orlando Pride, marking the watchmaker’s first club-level partnerships in North America. The company will be the official watch and timekeeper of both soccer teams, and Orlando City Stadium will be branded with Tag Heuer signage next to the stadium clock and video board. The company also will have LED ribbon board advertising, plus social media and player activations. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Tag Heuer became the official watch and timekeeper of MLS and U.S. Soccer in '16, and also has soccer partnerships with the EPL, La Liga, Bundesliga and Manchester United.

ADDED PRESENCE AT IMS: Tag Heuer also has purchased more assets at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, adding signage around the track's famed pagoda. The signage includes some assets on the nine-tier pagoda that were previously held by Panasonic, as well as some new areas that were not previously branded. Financial terms of the deal were not known but the purchase represents an incremental uptick in Tag’s spend with IMS, where the watch company is already an official partner. Tag is the official timepiece of the Indianapolis 500 and Verizon IndyCar Series, while also serving as the presenting sponsor of IMS’ Hulman Terrace Club. IMS’s pagoda is in the infield adjacent to the start/finish line and houses IndyCar’s race and safety control units, radio broadcast booths and corporate hospitality suites and activation areas.
