Buyers & Sellers: Kevin Durant Buys Malibu Home For $12.05M

Warriors F KEVIN DURANT purchased a beachfront home in Malibu for $12.05M. Originally built in '76, the home was "extensively remodeled five years ago." It features "open-concept living and dining rooms, wide-plank French oak floors and vaulted ceilings." Sliding walls of glass and "terrace balconies on three levels survey a sandy cove on Broad Beach." An elevator "serves each floor" of the 5,100-square-foot home. An outdoor spa and dining patio "finish off the indoor-outdoor setting" (LATIMES.com, 4/24).

BUYERS & SELLERS: Rockets G CHRIS PAUL placed his home in Houston on the market for $6.975M. Paul purchased the 18,717-square-foot estate last October for an "unknown amount." The home has "nine bedrooms, a carved wood library and 14 bathrooms" (CHRON.com, 4/23)....Former NFLer ALDON SMITH has placed his San Jose home back on the market for $2.5M. The gated estate was "listed for sale three years ago" for about $3M. Built in '07, the contemporary-style house has more than 6,400 square feet of finished space that includes a "movie theater with a bar, an office, six bedrooms and five bathrooms." There are "three fireplaces including ones in the family room and master suite" (LATIMES.com, 4/24)....Former NFL referee ED HOCHULI has sold his home in San Diego for $2.395M. At nearly 1,400 square feet, the home offers "wall-to-wall windows with ocean views" (LATIMES.com, 4/20)....Rams QB JARED GOFF listed his home near Agoura Hills, Calif., for just under $1.8M. The home sits on close to a half-acre lot and is "surrounded on either side by mature trees and hedges." The 4,315 square feet of "open plan space features distressed wood floors, high ceilings and fireplaces in the living and family rooms and game room/den." The home has "five bedrooms and 5.5 updated bathrooms" (LATIMES.com, 4/23)....Former MLBer XAVIER NADY placed his home in Big Bear, Calif., on the market for $789,900. The 3,423-square-foot home has "four multi-bed bedrooms and four bathrooms" (LATIMES.com, 4/23).
