BLOOMBERG NEWS' Scott Soshnick reported some Mets investors "plan to sell" their stakes in the team. Mets co-Owners Fred Wilpon and Saul Katz six years ago were "being sued by the trustee representing Bernie Madoff's victims" and sold a dozen 4% shares of the team for $20M each. According to terms of the original sales, the new investors were "guaranteed" 3% interest, compounded annually for six years. The investors "had no control over the team, but they were exempt from capital calls during that time." Investors also "received some inventive perks." Sources said that Wilpon and Katz are "entitled to buy any offered shares at their full value but are unlikely to do so" (BLOOMBERG NEWS, 4/26).

TALKIN' 'BOUT PRACTICE: Fans can attend the Vikings' training camp this summer at the new Eagan facility, where attendance "is expected to be limited to 5,000 per day." The Vikings say that number is "to be determined." For the first time, fans "must reserve tickets at Vikings.com starting in June." Admission is free, but the team is also "considering reserved seating and upgraded experiences at a cost" (Minneapolis STAR TRIBUNE, 4/27).

GLOBAL BRAND: The Golden Knights have contacted many "international fans who responded" to a tweet through direct message. Each fan was "sent a T-shirt design that the team had been selling for the past month: a 'name tag' that reads 'I'm From (Blank Space) But I Cheer For Vegas Golden Knights.'" Fans were "encouraged to write in their geographic information in that white space with a marker, and put those images on social media" (ESPN.com, 4/26).
