TNT was up for its NBA Playoff games over the weekend, while ESPN and ABC saw an overall decline for their matchups. TNT had the best number of the weekend for any sports telecast, drawing a 4.5 overnight rating for Cavaliers-Pacers Game 4 last night. That figure was up big from a 2.9 for Clippers-Jazz Game 4 last year. TNT saw year-over-year gains for three of its four windows over the weekend. Meanwhile, ABC saw declines for both first-round games yesterday. Warriors-Spurs Game 4 in the late afternoon window drew a 4.3 overnight, down from a 4.5 for Rockets-Thunder Game 4 last year. In the early afternoon window, ABC drew a 3.2 overnight for Celtics-Bucks Game 4, down from a 3.6 for Cavs-Pacers Game 4 last year. ESPN also had four games spread over Friday and Saturday night, and three of those four saw declines. Cavs-Pacers Game 3 on Friday night was the only one to see a gain, drawing a 2.5 overnight, which was up from a 1.9 for Celtics-Bulls Game 3 last year. ESPN2 also had Raptors-Wizards Game 3 on Friday night, which was down from Clippers-Jazz Game 3 last year.
