ESPN Back On Top Of ComScore Sports Rankings For March

ESPN in March returned to the top of monthly comScore sports rankings of multiplatform digital reach after being supplanted during the Pyeongchang Games by the Yahoo Sports-NBC Sports Network alliance. ESPN’s total of 75.4 million unique visitors easily paced the category, as did its consumption total of 5.82 billion minutes in total time spent and average of 77.2 minutes per visitor during the month. Bleacher Report-Turner Sports Network, which includes NCAA.com and the March Madness Live streaming of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament, rose to second during the month after placing sixth in February. The overall sports category generated 183 million unique visitors during the month, down 3.4% from the Olympics-fueled totals of February, but up 2.3% from March ’17.
