Overnight Ratings: CBS' PGA Tour Up Despite Tape-Delayed Final Round

CBS saw ratings increase for its coverage of the PGA Tour RBC Heritage over the weekend, despite yesterday's final round being shown on tape delay because of impending inclement weather. The net drew a 2.0 overnight rating for the final round, which saw Sotashi Kodaira beat Si-Woo Kim in a three-hole playoff for his first PGA Tour win. Yesterday's rating is up 33% from a 1.5 last year, when Wesley Bryan won the event on Easter Sunday. Yesterday's final round was the highest-rated since Jim Furyk's win in '15 drew a 2.6. Saturday coverage on CBS drew a 1.4 overnight, up 27% from a 1.1 in '17. It was also the highest third round since '15 (1.6 overnight). Ratings from Greensboro and Detroit were not included due to a Nielsen delay.
