Josh Kroenke Continues Climb, Promoted To KSE Vice Chair

Kroenke Sports & Entertainment promoted Avalanche and Nuggets President JOSH KROENKE to Vice Chair of KSE and KSE UK. He serves on the NHL and NBA BOG and is a member of the NBA’s Planning Committee. Kroenke is also an Alternate Governor for the Rapids and sits on the BOD of EPL Club Arsenal (KSE). In Denver, Mark Kiszla profiled Kroenke and wrote he is the “crown prince of Colorado’s royal sports family.” Kroenke has “boots on the ground, attempting to keep a finger on the pulse” of KSE's entities, including the Avalanche, Nuggets and EPL club Arsenal. While recent years have “often been a tough slog for the Avs and Nuggets, can we at least give Kroenke props for unblinking persistence?” As the Broncos struggle to “find a suitable adult child to replace" Owner PAT BOWLEN, the son of Rams Owner STAN KROENKE has “endured trial by fire." Josh Kroenke has taken the heat "when BRIAN SHAW flopped as Nuggets coach or MATT DUCHENE wanted out of the Avalanche locker room.” He is a “middle-aged executive with a full decade of experience in the big leagues.” Fans tend to "fill in the blanks about Josh with any stereotype easily applied to the offspring of a mother and father both worth billions.” Kiszla: “This much I know is true. There’s not an ounce of arrogance in Josh Kroenke” (DENVER POST, 4/15).
