Danzi and Spieth's parting with Lagardère Sports was said to have been amicableGETTY IMAGES

Former Lagardère Sports U.S. COO Jay Danzi has joined WME as a partner, and three-time major champ Jordan Spieth will follow his longtime agent and will be represented by WME and IMG, which are both owned by Endeavor. In addition to representing Spieth, Danzi worked with corporations on golf consulting, and he will continue that work at WME. He also will look to bring new business to the Endeavor platform. Danzi is expected to bring corporate consulting clients, which will be named later, to WME. Two employees who worked with Danzi, Jordan Lewites and Laura Moses, are also joining him at WME. All three will continue to work out of Dallas and Danzi will report to Rick Rosen, WME partner and head of television. Danzi's first day at WME is today. Lagardère Sports previously announced that Danzi was stepping down from the agency after about five years there and that Lagardère Sports would no longer represent Spieth. It is believed his contract there expired and the parting was amicable. IMG already boasts a major golfer representation practice, which R.J. Nemer will continue to oversee. Clients include Henrik Stenson, Hideki Matsuyama, Paul Casey, Shanshan Feng, Brooke Henderson, Michelle Wie and Lydia Ko.
