The family of late Basketball HOFer JERRY TARKANIAN in two weeks will "receive the script for a Hollywood movie about UNLV basketball's role in Las Vegas' transition to a modern-day metropolis." Tarkanian's son DANNY said that he "expects it to hit theaters" in '20 during college basketball season should the movie become reality. Academy Award winner SHAWN CHRISTENSEN, who won in '12 for best live action short film, "CURFEW," is "handling the screenplay." CAA will "promote the movie." Which actor will portray Jerry Tarkanian "still needs to be determined." Danny Tarkanian said that he heard PAUL GIAMATTI "would make sense" (REVIEWJOURNAL.com, 4/11).

SWITCHING BOOTHS: Broadcasting agent KRISTIN BREDES LAFEMINA has joined ICM Partners as an agent, after working the last four years for sports broadcasting talent representation agency Playbook. She started Monday and reports to ICM broadcasting department co-Heads LOU OPPENHEIM and MICHAEL GLANTZ. It is not clear what broadcasting clients, if any, will follow LaFemina to ICM. She specializes in representing sports broadcasters, including up-and-coming talent. Prior to Playbook, LaFemina worked for the Pac-12 Networks and CBS Sports Network (Liz Mullen, Staff Writer).

NAMES: The NBPA "signed a lease" at 1133 Sixth Ave. in N.Y. for "just under 9,000 square feet -- bringing its total to 56,187 square feet."
