UFC Marks 25th Anniversary With New Campaign, Sweepstakes

UFC

The UFC is celebrating its upcoming 25th anniversary with a new campaign designed to celebrate its fan base. The "Face of UFC" effort includes a sweepstakes that will be offered to fans who want to share their personal UFC fan stories. The sweepstakes -- open to residents of the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Ireland and the U.K. that are at least 18 years old -- begins April 19 and ends on Sept. 29. Twenty-five winners will be selected on Oct. 1 and awarded an exclusive trip to the UFC 25th Anniversary event on Nov. 10. The site for the event has yet to be announced. UFC Senior Exec VP & COO Ike Lawrence Epstein said, “UFC’s passionate fans deserve credit for driving our success over the past 25 years and this is our way of giving back. In a short period of time, our loyal fans have helped UFC become a global sports brand alongside the biggest in sports.” Fans will enter the sweepstakes by submitting an online registration at UFC25Years.com, a website dedicated to the anniversary that will launch next Thursday. The site will serve as the “Faces of UFC” engagement hub, featuring fan testimonials, UFC videos and trivia, among other features. Fans can receive additional sweepstakes entries for watching videos and answering trivia questions on the site.
