Twitter Reviews Positive For ESPN's "SportsCenter: All Access"

ESPN last night aired the first "SportsCenter: All Access" at 10:00pm ET. The show, featuring behind-the-scenes looks at the "SportsCenter" production, garnered mostly positive responses on Twitter, with a few critical remarks on specific aspects of the presentation. South Florida Sun-Sentinel's Christy Chirinos: "I'm sure we're only seeing a fraction of the craziness that happens with a live broadcast, but I've really enjoyed this SportsCenter All-Access show. Cool to see how some of the behind-the-scenes folks do what they do." Tampa-based WTSP-CBS' Ryan Bass: "Love the @SportsCenter All-Access look. ... Glad the fine folks that grind are getting some love and fans should love the access." Michigan State journalism professor Jay Clemons: "A healthy reminder that ESPN employs talented humans with real deadline pressures ... and no robots. (At least not yet.)" Variety's Andrew Wallenstein: "What an odd commercial pod in tonight’s Sportscenter, called 'All Access.'" NBC audio mixer Fred Hedemark: "Very curious how the audio transmission for the @ESPN @SportsCenter 'all access' was engineered, because it didn’t sound good. Poor audio quality with major dithering problems."

SIGHTS & SOUNDS: Meanwhile, several ESPN employees posted images and video highlighting the show format:
