Fanatics Employee Took Records When Leaving For Job At '47 Brand

A Jacksonville judge has ruled that former Fanatics Manager of Special Events & Contract Printing BRAD LEINBACH "took a trove of business records" when he left the company in '17 to become ’47 Brand Domestic Production Manager, and "gave Leinbach five days to return the records" to Fanatics, according to Steve Patterson of the FLORIDA TIMES-UNION. Leinbach was also ordered "not to keep any copies" and is banned from "working for ’47 Brand until a lawsuit Fanatics filed against him last year is resolved." Fanatics sued in October, saying that Leinbach "violated a non-competition agreement that prohibited working for any rival without company permission for 18 months after leaving Fanatics." Fanatics also said that Leinbach’s job "involved working with businesses like printers in 'hot markets'" (FLORIDA TIMES-UNION, 4/6).
