JACK NICKLAUS will "reduce his day-to-day involvement" with his North Palm Beach-based Nicklaus Cos. Nicklaus said that he wanted to "reprioritize his time and focus." Former Islanders Owner HOWARD MILSTEIN, who joined the Nicklaus Cos. about 10 years ago, will become Exec Chair of the company, while Nicklaus will stay on as co-Chair. The Nicklaus Cos. "focuses on golf course design, real estate development and marketing/license of golf products under the Golden Bear brand." The Nicklaus family will "continue to be the majority owner," and both JACK NICKLAUS II and GARY NICKLAUS will "remain on the board" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 2/8).

EXECS: Eagles Senior VP/Marketing, Media & Communications ANNE GORDON is "leaving the team" after five-and-a-half seasons with the franchise. Gordon, who was hired in November '12, directed the team’s "marketing and their media assets, including television programming and radio, digital, social media and print content." She also "administered the Eagles’ public and community
relations departments" (PHILLY.com, 2/8)....Chicago-based marketing agency rEvolution named JMI Senior VP/Operations MIKEL HARTMAN to the same position (rEvolution)....Alterra Mountain, the "newly formed company that operates Colorado's Winter Park and Steamboat ski resorts," named Mammoth Resorts CEO RUSTY GREGORY to the same position (BIZJOURNALS.com, 2/7)....The Sports Turf Managers Association named SARAH MARTIN President (THE DAILY)....Samford Univ. AD MARTIN NEWTON "agreed to a new contract" with the school through June 30, 2022. He was hired in '11 (WIAT.com, 2/8).
