RBC Adds World No. 1 Dustin Johnson To Endorser Roster

World No. 1 golfer Dustin Johnson is the "newest brand ambassador" for RBC, joining more than a dozen other pro golfers on the bank's endorser roster, according to Kristi Dosh of FORBES. Johnson will "wear RBC branding on his apparel" and the bank's logo will appear on his bag. He also will appear at special events for the bank and play in the two events it title sponsors, the RBC Canadian Open and the RBC Heritage. Other golfers aligned with RBC includes Jim Furyk, Matt Kuchar, Graeme McDowell, Brandt Snedeker, Adam Hadwin and Brooke Henderson. Johnson said that he has had the "opportunity to spend time with RBC executives while playing at the RBC Canadian Open" over the last five years, which "made the decision to partner even easier" (FORBES.com, 2/7). In South Carolina, Rick Millians notes Johnson's appearance in April at the RBC Heritage comes as the tournament is celebrating its 50th anniversary. He has "not competed" in the event since '09 (THESTATE.com, 2/7).
