Pink, J-Lo Among Super Bowl Concerts; Jamie Foxx All Over Parties

The Twin Cites this weekend played host to numerous concerts and parties leading up to Super Bowl LII. PINK on Friday played at the "newly remodeled Minneapolis Armory" in front of 8,000 attendees (STARTRIBUNE.com, 2/3). The capacity crowd at the Armory was treated to a 75-minute set from the singer (TWINCITIES.com, 2/3). JENNIFER LOPEZ also played the Armory on Saturday with a "100-minute performance." But Pink's "awe-inspiring performance" on Friday "made Lopez's show feel flat by comparison." There just "wasn't a consistent buzz in the full house" (STARTRIBUNE.com, 2/4)....Lopez was joined on stage by DJ KHALED and NE-YO in front of a crowd of 8,000 that included the likes of RUSSELL WILSONCIARAMARK CUBAN and RON BERKOWITZ (NYPOST.com, 2/4)....DAVE MATTHEWS BAND on Saturday night at Xcel Energy Center played in front of a "sold-out crowd of more than 15,000." CBS Radio co-produced and presented the concert with On Location Experiences (ST. PARTY TIME: Maxim magazine held its annual Super Bowl event, co-sponsored by blu, on Saturday night. The event featured performances by POST MALONE, CARDI B, MIGOS and MARSHMELLO. Celebs attending the party included TV personality OLIVIA CARIDI and internet star AUSTIN LAWRENCE. Chiefs TE TRAVIS KELCE, Saints DE CAMERON JORDAN and Redskins CB JOSH NORMAN made red carpet appearances (THE DAILY)....JAMIE FOXX on Saturday in Edina, Minn., hosted the Big Game Big Give party at the home of NovuHealth co-Founder & CEO TOM WICKA. Guests at one of Super Bowl week's "most exclusive parties" included SHAQUILLE O'NEAL and Vikings CB XAVIER RHODES. There were 500 tickets "available to event sponsors or selling for $3,000 apiece" (Minneapolis STAR TRIBUNE, 2/4)....Foxx & O'Neal on Friday hosted the Foxx & Friends event at Machine Shop in Minneapolis. Foxx and O'Neal were also guests later that night at TAO Group and Barstool Sports' VIP party (ST. PAUL PIONEER PRESS, 2/4)....Foxx and O'Neal also attended the Super Bowl pre-game party at the Bootsy Bellows pop-up on Saturday, where O'Neal "spun tunes as 'DJ Diesel'" (NYPOST.com, 2/4)...The 27th annual Taste of the NFL party took place Saturday at RiverCentre in St. Paul. Guests included former NFLers BEN LABER and ESERA TUAOLO, singer KELSEA BALLERINI, actresses MARLEE MATLIN and EIZA GONZALEZ, TV culinary star ADAM RICHMAN and '18 Miss America CARA MUND. The event ended with a concert by O.A.R. (TWINCITIES.com, 2/4).

STAR-STUDDED PARTIES: ALEX RODRIGUEZ attended MICHAEL RUBIN's Fanatics Super Bowl party on Saturday (NYPOST.com, 2/4)....Pepsi Generations Live Pop-Up at Nicollet Island Pavilion took place on Friday. The event was a "celebration of halftime shows and Pepsi commercials past." Guests included CINDY CRAWFORD, retired NASCAR driver JEFF GORDON and Cowboys QB DAK PRESCOTT (ST. PAUL PIONEER PRESS, 2/4). Saints RB ALVIN KAMARA also attended (THE DAILY)....JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE's Man of the Woods: Listening Experience was Friday at Paisley Park (late singer PRINCE's private estate).
