FOX Sports will stream exclusive digital content on social media sites that are tailored to the specific audiences of Twitter and Snapchat to complement its 2018 World Cup broadcast from Russia.

The broadcast company announced Tuesday that it will produce 27 live-streamed shows exclusively on Twitter from FOX Sports’ studio in Moscow’s Red Square. On each match day throughout the tournament, FOX Sports digital host Rachel Bonnetta will provide match previews, recaps and Twitter reaction through a series of live and originally-produced segments that comprise a 30-minute show.

FOX Sports, which has the exclusive rights as the English-language broadcaster of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, will also provide near real-time video highlights for each game, including of every goal scored, as well as talent Q&As, player/coach interviews and press conference clips.

The daily live show, which will feature guests including FOX Sports’ 2018 FIFA World Cup on-air talent Rob Stone, Landon Donovan, Kate Abdo, Alexi Lala and Fernando Fiore, will be available in the United States to Twitter’s logged-in and logged-out audience via @FOXSoccer.

On Snapchat, FOX Sports will leverage the app’s “Publisher Stories” feature to chronicle the day-by-day action of the tournament through broadcast-level highlights, previews, recaps and expert analysis, incorporating video, text, artwork and motion graphics.

“These exciting collaborations with Twitter and Snapchat mark a major opportunity to leverage the world’s greatest sports moment and our talent beyond the TV screen,” Alexis Ginas, FOX Sports’ SVP of Cross-Platform Solutions, said in a statement. “Alongside our FOX Sports-owned properties, they’ll help amplify this summer’s incredible live events programming – 64 matches total at the FIFA World Cup.”

A team at Snapchat will also produce FIFA World Cup “Our Stories,” which will feature video highlights of goals and other key moments from the tournament provided by FOX Sports alongside exclusive behind-the-scenes reactions from fans in Russia and those celebrating at home around the world.
