Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment promoted Exec VP/Global Partnerships MIKE ZAVODSKY to the newly created position of Chief Revenue Officer. Zavodsky was an SBJ/SBD "Forty Under 40" honoree in '16. Meanwhile, BSE also promoted JOSH PRUSS to Senior VP/Global Partnerships. He will continue to report to Zavodsky. Meanwhile, BSE named DAN LEFTON Senior VP/Tickets, Strategy & Operations. Lefton rejoins BSE after a 4.5-year absence. During his absence Lefton co-founded Dynasty Sports & Entertainment. Lefton will report to Zavodsky (BSE).

EXECS: UNC Charlotte AD JUDY ROSE announced her retirement, effective June 30. Rose, who has held the AD title for 28 years, was the third woman to lead a D-I athletics program when she took the position (UNCC)....SWAC Commissioner DUER SHARP has officially stepped down from his position. SWAC Associate Commissioner EDGAR GANTT will serve as commissioner in the interim. Sharp's departure "became official" Dec. 31 (THEADVOCATE.com, 1/3)....The Cubs named Gatorade Dir of Global Marketing LAUREN FRITTS VP/Marketing. She replaces ALISON MILLER, who "parted ways" with the team after five years (TWITTER.com, 1/3)....N.Y.-based PR firm DKC promoted DAVE DONOVAN to the newly created position of Dir of Sports (THE DAILY)....Consulting firm Sports Business Solutions named Suns Senior Manager of Premium Sales JOSH BELKOFF Senior Dir of Recruiting & Development (SBS).
