Warriors G Stephen Curry Uses New Shoe To Support "Nothing But Nets" Charity

Warriors G Stephen Curry's limited-edition "Nothing But Nets" Under Armour shoe is "part of Curry’s fight against malaria," according to Daniel Brown of the San Jose MERCURY NEWS. For every pair of the new $120 shoe sold, Curry will "donate an insecticide-treated bed net aimed at protecting kids, refugees and families from malaria,"  Curry yesterday "unveiled the new Curry 4 models" when he "took the court for a workout" before the Warriors' game against the Jazz. Curry serves as the "global ambassador for the United Nations Foundation's Nothing But Nets Campaign," and the heel of the new shoe "features a netting design, a clear reference to Curry's involvement in the campaign" (San Jose MERCURY NEWS, 12/28).
