Buyers & Sellers: Marlins CEO Derek Jeter Leasing Miami Condo For $30,000 A Month

Marlins CEO DEREK JETER "recently moved into a five-bedroom, 6 1/2-bath, 5,522-square-foot condo" at the Grove at Grand Bay building in the Coconut Grove neighborhood of Miami. Jeter is "currently leasing with an option to buy." Records show the condo "recently popped up as a rental for $30,000 a month." The unit is "listed for sale" at $6.5M (REALTOR.com, 12/20)....Lakers President JEANIE BUSS has bought a home in Playa Vista, Calif., for about $2.447M. The home has "four bedrooms and five bathrooms in about 3,200 square feet." There are "dark wood floors and high ceilings in the center-island kitchen, dining room and living room." The master suite "sports two walk-in closets." A "covered terrace with a tiled fireplace and dining area extends from the second level" (LATIMES.com, 12/20)....RICK PITINO has sold his 5,100-square-foot home in Louisville for $1.9M. The Pitino family "recently listed a second home, a Mediterranean-style estate on the exclusive Indian Creek Island" near Miami for $24M (Louisville COURIER-JOURNAL, 12/19)....Bills RB MIKE TOLBERT this month sold his Mediterranean-style home in the Scripps Ranch area of San Diego for $1.78M. He bought the home in '15 for $2.22M. The half-acre property "includes a swimming pool and spa, a fire pit, a turf field and a basketball half-court." Inside the two-story home's 6,057 square feet of interior are "five bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms" (LATIMES.com, 12/14).
