NASCAR Managing Dir of Team Marketing Services CHRIS TRAEGER has left the sanctioning body for an unidentified new opportunity, according to sources. Traeger joined NASCAR in mid ’15 after a decade at Bank of America and a prior stint as general counsel of Octagon. He worked in the department that helps teams out on various marketing and sales functions. It was unclear as of presstime whether his role will be filled (Adam Stern, Staff Writer).

EXECS: Fenway Sports Management promoted Senior Dir FRED OLSEN to VP and Senior Manager KATHLEEN HARRINGTON to Assistant Dir. FSM also named BRETT MILLER Special Events Coordinator (FSM)....The CFL BC Lions named former Eskimos VP/Football Operations & GM ED HERVEY GM. He was with the Eskimos from '13-16 (CP, 11/30)....The Aspire Group promoted ANACLAUDIA CERVANTES to Manager of Sales & Service (Univ. of Texas-Rio Grande Valley) and AZIA EVANS to Sales Consultant (National Sales Center). The collegiate ticketing outfit also hired the following: CHRISTOPHER APENBRINK as Manager of Ticket Operations (Univ. of Idaho); BRANDON CRIST as Manager of Sales & Service (Univ. of Delaware); PAOLO DE GUZMAN as Sales Consultant (Univ. of Portland); ALISA MAGOWAN as Service & Retention Consultant (UConn); and CRAIG BALL as Sales Consultant (USF) (THE DAILY).
