SOUL Electronics Releases Sport Earphones With Safety-First Mindset

SOUL Electronics has launched an Indiegogo campaign for its latest product, the X-SHOCK Transparent Edition truly wireless sport earphones that emphasize safety.

The X-SHOCK Transparent Edition can make running at night safer from traffic because while listening to music, the earphones have bright LED lights that flash and can be seen from a distance.

According to Insurance Institute of Highway Safety, about 40 percent of crashes involving pedestrians occur at intersections between 6 p.m. and midnight.

In addition to the LED lights, the earphones feature a 3,000 mAH power bank, — allowing for up to 60 hours of playtime — Bluetooth 4.2, sweat and rain proof iPX5 rating, allowing for water submersion up to 16 feet for 30 minutes and compatibility with Siri and Google Assistant.

“We’re pleased to announce this highly anticipated Indiegogo campaign that aligns with our goal of providing our customers with sport earphones that also provide them with another barrier of protection, allowing them to workout at their preferred time of day,” SOUL Electronics CEO Patrick Tang said in a statement. “Exercise happens at different times of the day and we want to ensure that our customers feel safe, regardless of time, when they are trying to fit a workout into their busy schedule.”

The X-SHOCK Transparent Edition are currently available for purchase through Indiegogo for $129 and will begin shipping in March 2018.
