Inter Milan Enables New Media Approach With Inter Media House

FC Internazionale Milano has announced the Inter Media House project — a new way for fans to have exclusive access to the Inter club.

Content from the Inter Media House will provide fans with insights into the Inter club. These insights will be heightened with the use of virtual and augmented reality, which will allow fans to peek in on the Nerazzurri’s everyday life.

“We compete for people’s time nowadays,” Chief Communications Officer Robert Faulkner said in a statement. “So we must create engaging experiences and inspirational content that enhance fans’ relationship with our club. That’s the idea behind Inter Media House. We want to produce and distribute content and services that are increasingly tailored to users’ needs. Inter Media House is a multimedia platform that will enable us to further develop our brand through entertainment and innovation, creativity and design.”

The new Inter app will help distribute content in an even more interactive, faster and easier way. It will also let users customize and personalize their experience, and by setting the information setting to “Always On”, users will receive real time notifications on their favorite players, details of training and matches and ticketing.

The Inter Official App is available on smartphone and tablets on iOS and Android.

“Football is changing, and football clubs are becoming more and more like media and entertainment companies,” Inter CEO Alessandro Antonello said in a statement. “Inter is a club with a long history – we celebrate our 110th birthday on 9 March next year – and we’ve enjoyed a great deal of success down the years. That’s why we’re one of the biggest football brands in the world. We want to ensure we remain at the forefront of the game in this time of great change by exporting our brand outside of Italy.”
