The NFL Jets named TIM KEMP Senior Dir of Marketing, reporting directly to Senior VP/Marketing & Fan Engagement SETH RABINOWITZ. Kemp will oversee advertising, fan communications, research and creative services. Prior to the Jets, Kemp had stints with Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment, Prudential Center, XL Center in Hartford and the Univ. of Memphis (Terry Lefton, Editor-at-Large).

EXECS: Esports organization Immortals named former Publicis Creative Dir BRIAN JUNG VP/Creative & Brand and NFL Network VP/Marketing STEVEN GRACIANO to the same position. Both execs will report to Immortals President & COO ARI SEGAL (Immortals)....Univ. of Hawaii Assistant AD, Chief of Staff and Senior Woman Administrator LOIS MANIN is "expected to be confirmed" as interim Associate AD and SWA "when the Board of Regents meets Thursday." Manin "fills the vacancy" left by MARILYN MONIZ-KAHO'OHANOHANO, "who retired in June." Her new role is "scheduled to run until Oct. 19, 2018, at a listed annual salary of $118,008, plus a $1,000 stipend." UH AD DAVID MATLIN said that there is "no timetable for making a permanent selection" (HONOLULU STAR-ADVERTISER, 10/17)....A source said that WNBA N.Y. Liberty coach BILL LAIMBEER will become San Antonio Stars coach & GM "when the team is sold and relocated" to Las Vegas. Laimbeer also led the Detroit Shock as coach & GM from '02-09 (AP, 10/13).
