Huawei Band 2 Pro, An All-In-One Fitness Tracker With Premium Features

The Huawei Band 2 Pro is the fitness tracker that you don’t have to take off of your wrist.

Battery technology enables the band to be used for seven straight days on a single charge, meaning the recharging can wait until the weekend. Water resistance enables users to shower and wash their hands while wearing it.

And with the device comfortably strapped on the wrist, that allows fitness athletes who desire accuracy to get a complete picture of steps traveled, heart rate monitoring, running and swimming. Scientific sleep tracking has been certified, with the premium feature giving athletes a picture of how well rested they are after a workout.

The companion app tracks these workouts and also shows calories burned and distance traveled thanks to standalone GPS. It connects to third-party services.

The band even has smart notifications, buzzing to remind you to get up a stretch when you’ve been sitting for an hour. And it buzzes some more when there’s an incoming call, reminding you to get up to pick up your phone.

“This is an all-in-one fitness tracker — everything you can ever imagine and expect in a fitness tracker,” Huawei senior marketing manager Rebecca Deng said.

The Huawei Band 2 Pro is from China and arrived in the U.S. last month. It’s available for $69.99 at Amazon.

“Behind the development of the HUAWEI Band 2 Pro is a desire to build a fitness tracker that supports our digital and physical lives while still maintaining an attractive look and feel,” Vincent Wen, Vice President, Huawei Device USA, said in a statement. “Regardless of where adventures may lead, we’re proud to say the Band 2 Pro and our lineup of wearables are there to help support everyone’s desire for more active lifestyles.”

Added Deng: “We see that the healthy lifestyle is trending up.”
