Major League Rugby club Seattle Seawolves named former Seahawks and Sounders exec BRIAN JONES Chief Commercial Officer prior to the league's planned launch in '18. Jones, who had stints as Sounders VP/Business Development and Seahawks Managing Dir of Corporate Partnerships, will oversee marketing, sales, product development and customer service for the startup league. The Seawolves, one of 10 teams that collectively owns the MLR, are owned by an investment group led by ADRIAN BALFOUR and SHANE SKINNER (Ben Fischer, Staff Writer).

EXECS: Youth golf program The First Tee named Nickelodeon Exec VP KEITH DAWKINS CEO. Beginning Oct. 16, he will start as incoming CEO and officially take the reins from outgoing CEO JOE LOUIS BARROW JR. on Jan. 1. Dawkins will report to the World Golf Foundation BOD and The First Tee Advisory BOD (The First Tee)....The Tigers named DANNY VARGOVICK, DREW JORDAN and SHANE PIESIK Baseball Operations Analysts. The team also promoted Dir of Baseball Operations SAM MENZIN to Dir of Baseball Operations & Professional Scouting (Tigers).
