Two To Tango: StubHub, AXS Named Founding Partners Of T-Mobile Arena

T-Mobile Arena and AEG Global Partnerships have struck a deal with StubHub and AXS in which the two ticketing companies have been named official founding partners of the Las Vegas arena and the building’s official secondary partners. StubHub and AXS’ Flash Seats will collaborate on a jointly operated resale marketplace for events at the building, with listings on each site for T-Mobile Arena integrated with the other platform. Financial terms were not disclosed, but the deal will include a variety of digital, social and offline marketing assets in addition to the ticket functionality. Ticket data also will be co-shared. StubHub over the years has collaborated with several primary ticketing operators including Paciolan and Tickets.com. StubHub GM/North America Perkins Miller said, “This one is unique in that (it) is tied to one building. But this is an important market of us, and we’ve done something that we believe will be really beneficial for fans.” The deal involved nearly a year of talks, and was one of the final projects StubHub Head of Partnerships & Business Development Geoff Lester worked on before his departure in May. “This is going to allow us to speak in a single, shared voice,” said AEG Global Partnerships Senior VP Nick Baker. Sources said the Golden Knights are nearing a separate partnership with StubHub that will be folded into this alignment.
