1. What is your elevator pitch?

Designed completely by current college coaches, ProspectCNNCT is a niche CRM that has taken mobile recruit management and communication to a new level. Coaches and recruiters can now handle their entire recruiting workflow on their IOS or Android device. Simplicity and ease of use has been a focus since ProspectCNNCT’s inception, as well as a keen sensitivity to the challenges of small college athletic budgets.

2. Problem & Solution

There are countless challenges encountered when traveling around the country recruiting student-athletes. Using personal experience, we have tackled a few major problems...

From the college coaches perspective, there are recruit management tools currently on the market that have complimentary mobile apps. It never fails, however, that one must ultimately login to a browser-based or desktop dashboard to take advantage of all available features. ProspectCNNCT is designed to handle all recruit management and communication from the user’s mobile device. Additionally, competing solutions all come with a significant price tag. ProspecCNNCT is available to and affordable by all, regardless of athletic budget. We don’t believe in have nots.

For student-athletes, ProspectCNNCT has also launched its free companion app, BEACON. Players can now activate their BEACON while competing at their high school game, recruiting tournament, or combine event. Any college coach nearby who uses ProspectCNNCT will have instant access to that athlete’s recruiting profile and contact information. Gone are the days of hunting down the game program or sifting through error-plagued tournament books. If a coach likes what he sees on the field or court, all relevant information can be immediately imported into ProspectCNNCT, no middleman required.

3. Market – your target market and the overall market

We have two target markets that go hand-in-hand. College coaches are primary and are those who will benefit most from using ProspectCNNCT as their mobile recruiting platform. There are about 25-30K active college coaches and recruiters currently in the United States. The market for BEACON includes any aspiring collegiate athlete, 13 years or older, across all sports. Millions exist in the USA.

4. Business Model – how do you make money?

ProspectCNNCT App for coaches is subscription-based at $5.99/month. Comparable alternative solutions range from a low of about five-hundred dollars per season to thousands of dollars annually per sport. The BEACON companion app for student-athletes will always remain free supported by ad based revenue.

5. Management Team – with titles

6. Financial Needs: are you currently looking for investment? Have you raised investment already? If so, who are your investors?

This venture has been completely bootstrapped. Not actively seeking investors, but would entertain like-minded entities with a sincere interest in improving tools and resources available to college coaches. Currently seeking partnership opportunities with athlete recruiting firms, sports clubs, and tournament organizers.
