ChaseWind, a smart sports and healthcare device design company, has developed cycling smart glasses — a pair of sunglasses that provide a HUD interface, health management software, video streaming and cloud services.

The glasses include multiple features, including call and message notifications from a user’s phone, GPS navigation and the ability to take photos and videos and livestream video.

When a cyclist wears the glasses, the data can appear on right side of the glasses instead of the rider having to lower the head to look elsewhere for data. Wireless connectivity with sensors enable heart rate and cadence monitoring, as well as gear, speed and power measurements that can be displayed on the glasses.

In addition to those features, the ChaseWind glasses can provide cyclists with a customized coaching plan according to the cyclist’s heart rate as well as compare the cyclist’s previous GPS cycling record to improve ride measuring.

In case of emergency or an accidental fall, the SOS Alert Notification can alert all members in a user’s cycling team or an emergency response unit.
