Buyers & Sellers: Golf HOFer Raymond Floyd Puts $25M Hamptons Estate On The Market

Golf HOFer RAYMOND FLOYD is "looking for a buyer" for his $25M estate in The Hamptons. The 3.25-acre estate on Long Island "provides 14,000 square feet of living space and features 12 bedrooms, 12 full baths and three half baths throughout the main house and guest house." The recreational amenities include a "heated swimming pool, a tennis court and a workout room." Other features "include a wine room, staff quarters, a butler's pantry and a chef's kitchen" (GLOBALGOLFPOST.com, 8/29).

MOVING ON: Former MLBer PAUL KONERKO has sold his Del Mar, Calif., house for $5.3M. The custom-built home was "designed to take advantage of the ocean views." Expansive decking is "lined with transparent guardrails for views of the surrounding treetops and coastline." Walls of windows on the main level "take in the scenery." Some 6,000 square feet of living space includes "living and dining rooms, a game room, a lounge with a wine cellar, four bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms." Water features, slate accents and a mix of pecan, hickory and burl wood details "give the interior an exotic vibe" (LATIMES.com, 8/30)....Pro Football HOFer JASON TAYLOR has sold his two-story waterfront mansion in Weston, Fla., for $3.2M. The price "reflects a $400,000 loss from when he purchased the home" in '06. The home "features a walk-in humidor with a cigar/poker room, a curved glass wine cellar, billiards room and a theater." Totaling 10,247 square feet of living space, the house is "comprised of seven bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, formal living room with fireplace and a gourmet kitchen with a large center island" (South Florida SUN-SENTINEL, 8/31).

FIT FOR A KING: NHL Kings RW TYLER TOFFOLI has bought a townhome in the South Bay area of L.A. for $2.695M. The house "devotes a majority of its more than 3,300 square feet to open-plan space." Wide-plank oak floors "line the common area, which includes a center-island kitchen, living room and dining area." Sliding glass doors "open on one wall to a wide balcony for indoor-outdoor living" (LATIMES.com, 8/30).
