NFL Relaunches Official Website As Part Of League-Wide Digital Transformation

NFL Digital Media yesterday "relaunched NFL.com as part of a league-wide digital transformation," according to Sara Fischer of AXIOS. NFL Digital Media Dir of Product Jennifer Leung said that the transformation, which was done in-house using proprietary technology that they built, "seeks to accomplish two main goals." One is to "use better measurement, analytics and search/discovery tools to connect with fans and deliver more fan-based, team-based content." The other is to "provide simpler access to livestreams on the site and on mobile." Leung said that "reconciling distribution rights is 'the biggest challenge'" for the NFL digitally right now (AXIOS.com, 7/25).
