Stadium Partnering With AI Company GumGum To Help Network With Media Valuation

Forthcoming multiplatform national sports network Stadium has partnered with California-based artificial intelligence company GumGum to track ad placement and perform media valuation for the network. GumGum, using its computer vision platform, will aid Stadium in determining the value of its viewership across its disparate distribution platforms that include online, mobile, Twitter and over-the-air TV. “As programming evolves, it’s critical for content providers to understanding how consumers engage content and the value of their consumption, especially in an omnichannel broadcast setting,” said GumGum Sports GM Jeff Katz. Stadium is slated to debut later this month digitally and on linear TV in August.
