Excel, CAA Lead Way With Four Players Each Selected In First Round Of NBA Draft

Excel Sports Management and CAA tied for the most picks in the first round of Thursday night’s NBA Draft, with each agency representing four players. Excel last year led the way with six first-round picks, while CAA last year also represented four first-rounders. Other agencies with multiple first-rounders included Priority Sports with three players selected. Wasserman, 24/7 Sports Management, Octagon and Tandem Sports & Entertainment each had two players selected. I AM Sports’ Raymond Brothers represented No. 1 overall pick Markelle Fultz (76ers), while Harrison Gaines repped No. 2 pick Lonzo Ball (Lakers) for LaVar Ball’s Ball Sports Group.
