GOLF DIGEST's Stephen Hennessey noted Wesley Bryan has a "new endorsement deal" with Taco Bell that will see him wear a Taco Bell belt at this week's U.S. Open. Bryan posted a photo of him at a Taco Bell in South Carolina "following his win" at the PGA Tour RBC Heritage in April (GOLFDIGEST.com, 6/13).

MAKING A WITHDRAWAL?
 Wells Fargo North Carolina‎ Regional President Kendall Alley said that informal talks "have begun" for the bank to continue its sponsorship of the PGA Tour event in Charlotte, which expires in '19. In Charlotte, Erik Spanberg reported serious negotiations and a final decision will "likely come sometime" in '18. Alley’s comments, combined with recent remarks from Quail Hollow Club President Johnny Harris, "indicate the two sides are close to entering negotiations with an extension in mind" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 6/13).

LEAF PILE: ESPN.com's Darren Rovell noted the Cubs emailed premier clients and season-ticket holders yesterday with an offer to "purchase the ivy leaves that covered Wrigley Field's outfield walls" during the '16 season. After winning the World Series, the club "chose to collect the leaves for the first time and have each authenticated with a hologram." Each leaf "costs $200 plus $15 shipping." The Cubs note that a fan can "order up to 10 leaves and that the total leaves collected by the team number 2,016" (ESPN.com, 6/13).
