SeatGeek Signs Multiyear Deal With Minnesota United To Become Official Secondary Provider

Minnesota United have signed a multiyear partnership with SeatGeek that will see the N.Y.-based ticket platform become the team’s marketplace provider for secondary tickets beginning this season and its primary ticketer beginning in ’19. The deal, very similar in timing and structure to one announced in January for the Timbers, marks the third pro team SeatGeek has signed for its SeatGeek Open platform, which contemplates selling tickets across a wide range of ecommerce platforms. Financial terms were not disclosed. “The open ticketing system and related options offered by SeatGeek are consistent with our vision for a great fan experience -- both for this year, as well as for the future in our soccer-specific stadium being built in St. Paul,” Minnesota United Owner Bill McGuire said.
