Learfield Adds Gil Beverly For Collegiate Marketing, Jack Patterson For Social Media

Learfield has added two execs at the VP level -- GIL BEVERLY and JACK PATTERSON. Beverly had been with ESPN for 12 years in a variety of roles, ranging from the NFL to college sports and NASCAR. Most recently, he had been VP/College Sports Marketing & Sponsorship Activation. In his new role at Learfield, Beverly will work with 10 school properties in the West region and report to Senior VP TIM CLINE. Meanwhile, Patterson is Learfield’s first-ever VP/Social Media. Previously, Patterson was based in Denver as a Regional Sales Dir for social marketing firm Spredfast. Patterson has 15 years of experience in sales and digital marketing and will now report to Learfield Senior VP STEVE GOWAN. Both Beverly and Patterson will operate out of Learfield’s HQ in Plano, Texas.
