Browns, FS Ohio Reach Multiyear TV Agreement That Includes Shared Programming

The Browns and FS Ohio have "reached a multiyear TV agreement" that includes "shared programming, production and marketing commitments" between the net, SportsTime Ohio and the Browns, according to Kevin Kleps of CRAIN's CLEVELAND BUSINESS. The Browns' previous broadcasting deal with the networks expired after the '14 season. At the time, the Browns had "recently started an agreement" with WEWS-ABC that includes "rights to the team's preseason contests, one-hour pregame shows during the preseason and various other programming." The new deal with FS Ohio and STO will mean the return of "Training Camp Daily" -- a "30-minute wrapup of each Browns practice" -- to STO this summer. "Red Zone" will also "air twice weekly during the regular season, and 'Building the Browns' -- a behind-the-scenes show the team produces and posts on its website -- will be part of the STO schedule" (CRAINSCLEVELAND.com, 4/21). The Browns are "maintaining its broadcast connections" with WEWS, which has carried its preseason games since '15 (CLEVELAND.com, 4/21).
